Our Name
Zuri is derived from the Swahili word “nzuri”
which means “excellence”. The company was established shortly
after its founders returned from working in East Africa. They liked
the meaning of the word and saw a natural link with New Zealand through
its initial two letters (NZ). However the original “n” was
dropped to facilitate pronunciation and in its current form Zuri is
now a widely recognised brand within the human resource community.
